Refrigera: Innovative technologies

Refrigera®, leader in industrial refrigeration and air conditioning, is the result of long years of hard work and expertise acquired by its General Manager Mr. Agatino Maurizio Papa. It was running the year 2004 when Mr Papa founded "Branch & Material Co" (B&M SRL) to manufacture and supply branch joints kits, headers and adapters for VRF refrigeration systems. Due to the great success, two years later, he expands his horizons to France, setting up the first subsidiary: "B&M France". This time he will be covering the transalpine region with its high quality components and technology.

That was the beginning of a steady growth for Refrigera®. The following years were years of progress and consolidation. So that in 2008, a joint partnership with a manufacturing Company - specialized in the production of copper, inox, aluminium pipes, manifolds and headers, wall-serpentines with or without insulating tape, heat exchangers with capillary tube and bends - gave impulse to merge and so Innovaria Srl became part to the Company, the new branch joints manufacture department of B&M with a modern and well-equipped machinery, supported by the 3-D project system CAD-CAM and by the highly skilled workmanship, well inserted in the 6'000 mq. production plant, to reach a very high production capacity and satisfy the expectations of all customers, according to UNI EN ISO 9001 Norm.

A further important development of Refrigera® Company, has completed with acquisition on july 2008 of IRD Iniziative Srl, a market leader in refrigeration and industrial HVAC components. The acquisition is complementary: with IRD Srl adding its leadership in the commercial refrigeration to B&M existing strong presence in the VRF air conditioning segment. In addition, IRD’s expertise in HVACR valves and components, now enables Refrigera® to offer customers more differentiate cooling solutions that grew products range, reducing manufacturing costs.The addition of IRD Srl enhances R&D capabilities of the group: together with Innovaria Srl, business will benefit of economies of scale in procurement and manufacturing, increasing sales representation, and enlarging distribution.

Currently 70% of the company's turnover comes from exports. Markets covered are all European states, Turkey, Canada, Australia, Russia, South Africa.
